WEEK 2 - Assignments:
  1. Finish Lessons 1 & 2 and upload to the Server. See Class Notes below for more specific instructions on how to do this.
  2. Begin Lessons 3-Cast Shadows.
  3. Review Class Notes Week 1 & 2.
  4. Click on the Com 2250 Tutorials link above the Week 2 Handouts & Contents bar to return to the Tutorials Pages. View the Convert Type to Shape, Paths & Pen Tool, Paste Into, and Copy PDF Text movies on Page 2 of the Com 2250 Tutorials Area. These are germain to Lessons 1 & 2.
  5. E-mail instructor by Sundown on Sunday, a color headshot photo of yourself cropped to 100 pixels by 150 pixels, portrait orientation, 72 ppi, jpeg high quality 10, for the Class Directory.
  6. The Spring 2006 Directory is up and running (click the link on the top of this page), but I don't have everyone's photo, yet!

Type Tip: To commit Type and disengage the I-Beam, press Command Return (Mac); Control Enter (PC).

Browser Refresh/Reload Tip: Simply clicking the Refresh Icon in your Web Browser does not guarantee the browser will refresh with any new content that may have been added to a web page. Especially Mama's web pages, because of her frantic updating, housecleaning and rearranging of things. Here's a tip that does guarantee the browser will dump the cache of the page from your hard drive's temporary files and go to the server directly to download a fresh new page, with possible fresh new content. Hold down the SHIFT key while clicking the Refresh/Reload Icon!
Week 2 Class Notes

 Class Agenda: Finish Lessons 1 & 2 and upload to the Server. Lesson 4's Polaroid Effect Poster Demo has been moved to next week, Week 3. This is an instructor-led "hands-on" Demo like the Gradient Layer Mask Demo we did in Week 1. So don't miss out as you will get most of this project finished during the Demo!

Mama's Note: Notes for present week will be updated by Sundown on Sunday, until then they are IN PROGRESS. The Assignments and Class Agenda listed here, on-line, will over-ride the Semester Schedule Table found in the Com 2250 Intro Package. This is to your benefit, as far as extending due dates for assignments and some initial adjusting to the workflow of the class. I did not get to cover all I wanted to cover in this Week's class for various reasons. So, we'll go with the flow and try to make up for it next week!

I should have printouts of the Com2250 Introductory Package to handout next week, until then you can view the PDF on-line or download and print it yourself.
