The Tatra Mountain Range – 360Cities – Panoramic Photography Blog

[ad_1]

There is a mountain range along the border between Slovakia and Poland called The Tatras. The Tatra Mountains cover 64 km (40 miles) of the frontier of these two European countries. The mountains boast woodlands filled with wild and free animals like bears, chamois, marmots, and eagles. No matter the season, one can enjoy nature, breathe fresh air, swim in the lakes, hike through valleys or climb the peaks..and get high in the Tatra Mountains.

Did you know that Slovakia and Poland legally protect the Tatra Mountains and that they are a National Park? The Tatras also belongs to UNESCO’s World Network of Biosphere Reserves.

If you can’t visit right now, take a look at this set of panoramas of The Tatra Mountains, also in VR.
